Animated Joseki: Nadare ( Double Hane)

Nadare joseki offer black ( in this example) corner and side territory in exchange for white's building a wall towards the center. It is a simple idea that leads to a large family of more complicatd joseki.
"Nadare" is the Japanese word for avalanche. The first 6 stones on the board form the basis of nadare joseki.
A hane [ HAH-nay ] is a stone than "bends" around an opponent's stone.
A double hane (nidan bane [ BAH-nay ] in japanese) is one hane played off of another
White's 3rd stone is a hane and white's 5th stone makes the double hane
